Chukka Caribbean Adventures wins two 2009 Tourism Service Excellence Awards

On May 8, Chukka Caribbean Adventures won two Tourism Service Excellence Awards for the Montego Bay resort area. Chukka was recognized in the organization category and one of its outstanding tour guides, Jamaal Morrison, was recognized in the individual category.

The Tourism Service Excellence Awards were created in 2008 and are designed to develop, maintain and enhance the very best men, women and organizations serving Jamaica ’s tourism industry through consistency in service excellence.

“We are incredibly proud of these awards,” said John Byles, Co-Managing Director. “They recognized that Chukka Caribbean Adventures goes the extra mile in providing exceptional service to our customers. This dedication is embraced by each of our employees as well, which is why we are thrilled to see Jamaal receive this award.”

Morrison, supervisor/lead guide for ATV, was recognized for his determination to get the job done. He has won numerous awards at Chukka Caribbean Adventures, is self-driven, hard working and an active member of the community.

Chukka continues to improve and expand its experiences to meet the changing needs of visitors. The company has a history of developing new and unique adventure experiences in the Caribbean. It recently received the World Travel Award as the “Caribbean‘s Leading Nature Adventure Excursion Operator” for the third consecutive year.
