OCHO RIOS, Jamaica, August 29, 2006 --- Chukka Caribbean Adventures, the Caribbean’s leading land-based nature adventure tour provider, has now made it possible to book its tours directly. Starting December 15, 2006, one will be able to browse through www.chukkacaribbean.com, and choose from Chukka’s unique array of escorted tours and make a booking in seconds.  

Chukka Caribbean Adventures began in 1983 with one tour in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the signature Chukka horseback ride and swim, and has now expanded to 32 tours operating in four Caribbean countries.  This expansion has been built on the successful partnerships with the various hotels and cruise lines in the region that have created the demand for the Chukka Caribbean Adventures tours. 

“As we see parts of our product maturing, we explore opportunities to take our tours to other destinations.  Over the past five years, we have expanded our product through diversification and growth in new geographic locations, such as the Bahamas and Grand Turk,” said Marc Melville, Co-Managing Director of Chukka Caribbean Adventures. “Allowing vacationers, and their travel agents, to book directly with us, is a natural progression.  Of course, they can still book our tours through their hotel or cruise line.”
