OCHO RIOS, Jamaica (August 2006) -- Chukka Caribbean Adventures was awarded the Attraction of the Year Award 2005-2006 by the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association (JHTA) at their 45th Annual General Meeting held at Half Moon in Montego Bay in June. This is the second time they have received this honor.

“This award brings with it great prestige because we were voted on by our clients, the hoteliers across Jamaica,” says Dominique Peterkin, marketing manager for Chukka Caribbean Adventures. “We operate in the competitive attraction market, and Chukka Caribbean Adventures as a group, has distinguished itself as the number one nature adventure company in Jamaica.”

In addition to the Attraction of the Year Award from JHTA, Chukka has also received three top honors this year from Princess Cruises: Low Volume Tour of the Season for Montego Bay -- Caribbean Adventures Chukka Canopy Tour Adventure,” Low Volume Tour of the Season for Ocho Rios -- “River Tubing Safari on the White River,” and Low Volume Tour of the Season for Bak-a-Bush, Belize -- “The Lost World Canopy & Rappelling Adventure.”
