Like the encounter, with the EXPERIENCE you will be met on arrival by our most beloved host Isabella; and then off to a private tour of the kennels to meet all of her canine friends.

Get a one on one tour and hear the amazing story of the dogs of the Jamaica Dog Sled team, many of whom have been rescued from the Jamaica Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and are now considered “Second Chance Stars”. Learn the history and art of mushing around the world,assist with the harnessing of the team as they eagerly await their favorite ride.

Once onboard the sled, our experienced mushers will get you moving with a “hike up” and a “Gee”, commands our dogs love to hear; and off you go into the Jamaican country side of Chukka Cove farm.

While traveling our roads, you will visit the locations where legendary screen star, Steve McQueen shot the movies Papillion, Return to Treasure Island and Passion in Paradise. After a pit stop at Papillion Cove complete with refreshments and photo op, it's “Hike up and Haw” and homeward bound… Back to the kennels, where you can give treats and heaps of love to your team for a job well done!
